Flashback Friday

We are FINALLY getting around to having Ane’s “friend” birthday party this weekend.  We kept putting it off because we (and when I say “we,” I mean Ane) kept changing our minds about the venue and the number of people.  I told Ane that she could take a small number of people out (to tea or lunch or a movie – and when I say small, I meant three or four other girls), or she could have a larger number of people over for pizza and a movie here at home.

“We” finally opted for the larger group at home.  The boys are being evacuated for the evening (all males who reside in this domicile will be hiding at Grandma and Gichan’s while an unusual amount of estrogen is present), so Ane and her friends get the place to themselves.

The last time we threw the party in February, it ended up looking like this:

Fortunately, there will be no large scale slumber party this time.  Just pizza and a movie.

And fingers crossed that the boys will not repeat the feat they managed the last time they were hanging out at Grandma and Gichan’s during that same party.
