Thumper Sleeps, Rerun Provides Commentary

Last Wednesday was particularly rough for Thumper.  I put off his nap in hopes that he would sleep on the way to speech therapy.  Instead, I came into the living room to find him crashed on the floor.

“Oh, poor Thumper!” I exclaimed.

Rerun, who was standing off to one side, observed his sleeping brother and said,  “Yeah.  He died.”

I have no idea where that came from.

The poor little guy’s troubles didn’t end there.  He vomited all over himself in his carseat, which resulted in me turning around (we were waiting for Tad to get off his school bus, and were already in the car) and canceling speech.  Tad wasn’t happy, but Thumper was a huge mess.  He got a nap after a bath.  And fortunately, there was no more throwing up.
