New Bed Aftermath

Thumper finally fell asleep during his first night in the toddler bed.  And then he woke up and came into our room at 5:30 am.  He loved snuggling, but he was AWAKE and wanted to have a conversation in his jargon.

And because he was up so early, this happened at breakfast – before his older brother and sister had even left for school.

I thought he might sleep a while – but then Rerun said, “Can I watch LEGO Star Wars?” and Thumper’s head immediately snapped up.

“Star Wars!!!” he exclaimed.  It was like a magic spell waking him from sleep.

He then napped really hard in the car while taking Tad to speech in the afternoon.

We’ll see how this continues on….
