Growing Girls

On Sunday, we had to say good-bye to our friends Gracie and L once again.  They have been visiting from India for the last few months with their parents, but headed back there this week.  I snapped one last picture of the girls together (L is an 11 year old boy and being photographed is not his thing).

And if you know how tall Ane has gotten lately – she’s only a few inches shorter than me – then you must realize that yes, Gracie is now taller than me.  I used to give her bottles and babysit her on Wednesday evenings when we helped out with youth group (when her parents were the youth pastors at church), and now she has gotten taller than me.  Yes, that makes me feel old.
