Certified Babysitter

After a few months’ delay (thanks to a nasty bout of stomach flu), Ane finally took the Babysitting Basics class at the hospital!  The class is geared toward kids ages 11-16, and is an all-day seminar.  She ran into other kids from her school there (including one girl from her class), and said the whole experience was really good and she learned a lot of new stuff – including how to do the Heimlich maneuver on an infant.

She now wants to take the Infant/Child CPR class, which is a great idea.  However, it will have to wait until she gets home from her big trip!  More on that tomorrow!
