We had an odd half-day of school last Friday, which meant that Rerun didn’t have school at all.  (How would you have a half-day for half-day kindergarten?)

So he spent the time productively with me, making cookies.

Yes, he washed his hands.

Yes, he has bed head.

Yes, those are chocolate chip cookies.  Well, more specifically, mint chocolate chip cookies.  I am actually out of regular chocolate chips!  So we had to substitute with the Hershey’s chocolate mint ones that I keep on hand to make mint chocolate fudge.  The kids didn’t complain.

And yes, chocolate chips are on my Costco list.
