Day One of Summer Vacation

The older three have work to do.

I bought workbooks for all of them.  Ane is working on cursive and will start basic Japanese.  Tad and Rerun both got Star Wars workbooks (2nd grade level for Tad, 1st grade for Rerun) and handwriting workbooks.

During our first work period, Rerun blurted out, “I hate math!”

Without missing a beat, Ane said, “You’re doing handwriting.”

Rerun paused.  “Oh.”

It’s going to be a looooooong summer.
