Art of the Week – Complimentary Colors

Tad’s art classes have started up again!  YAY!

Yesterday’s lesson was in oil pastels, and they drew a cup.  But the focus of the lesson was in discovering complimentary colors (emphasis on red and green) and working in patterns.

The striped tablecloth the mug and saucer are sitting on remind me of a vintage Mariners color scheme.

And that grin means that he is REALLY happy to be back on his schedule again.
