Art of the Week – Landscape in Acrylic

Poor Tad.  All the coughing and yucky stuff brought on one of his famous headaches, right before art class.  I gave him meds, which I knew would really kick in during class, and he went anyway.  His teacher had said last week that it was going to be a “painting day,” and I knew he wouldn’t want to miss it.

He was pretty miserable, but eventually the ibuprofen kicked in, and he did a fabulous job.

First of all, I’m really proud of him for powering through class.  Second, WOW.  He can really follow directions and take instruction well!  (The kids were basing their painting off one the teacher did.)  Third, he has requested acrylic paint and canvas panels.

I guess it’s time to see what coupons are available at Michaels…
