FanFest 2017!!!

Football is SO over.  Time to think about spring…. and BASEBALL!!!

The Mariners had their annual FanFest this last weekend, and we were ready!

The older three kids and the Webmaster got to go toss the ball on the field again…

… while Thumper and I watched interviews on the big screen.

The day was overcast, but chilly.  It is still January, no matter how much we want to think about spring.

The kids ran into Webby, the Aquasox mascot, out on the main concourse!

And then we went and walked around the bases.

We finished our day by shopping at the team store.  Ane got a new hoodie, and Rerun, who had his favorite player traded away during the off-season, needed to pick a new player’s t-shirt.  He could not make up his mind (trying to pick between Felix Hernandez and Nelson Cruz was just too hard), so he went for a Star Wars Mariners shirt.  Perfect, because R2-D2 will never be traded.

Only two more weeks until spring training!!!
