Bonus Art!

After Tad’s success painting last week, we invested in a few supplies so he could paint in acrylics at home.  (And when a dozen small tubes of acrylic paint can be bought for $5, it’s an easy investment to make!)

I really wanted him to stretch his wings and try painting from a picture.  He sees the adults do this all the time at the studio.  So he chose a landscape photo of a sunrise over mountains and a lake.

And this was the final result!

And I was even prouder of him when he gave it away (which is very hard for him to do).  This was a gift for his ABA therapist (her birthday was earlier this month).  She saw his previous painting from class and expressed how much she loved it, so I suggested to Tad that he try and paint something just for her.  He gave it to her yesterday, and she says she is going to frame it for her office.

Someday, a Tad original might be worth something!
