The Webmaster’s Favorite Place To Run

Run a 5K, that is.

It was the annual Refuse To Abuse 5K at Safeco Field last Saturday, which is sponsored by the Mariners wives.  The race course runs in and out of the stadium, and the Webmaster says that it is definitely his favorite race to run/walk.  (No road running on his knee, says the orthopedic surgeon!)

Ane shaved almost 4 minutes off her time from this 5K last year and finished in 30:44.  The Webmaster also shaved a couple minutes off his walking time.  Auntie and JW also joined them for the race (the four of them were registered as a team), and took a team picture when it was all over.

Ane plans on running at least one more 5K before school starts – and cross country begins in the fall!
