Flashback Friday

Today is Veterans’ Day, observed.  Everyone knows it’s actually tomorrow, but today is the day that the kids are out of school and the banks are closed.

The weather promises to be wet, so I’m not quite sure what we will do yet, but thank you to all the veterans in my life – especially Oddball, and the Major.

Oddball also recently put into our family documents my Ojiichan’s honorable discharge paperwork from the Army in 1945, which I had never seen before.

To all the veterans who might read this post – thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for your service.
