Blustery Days

The forecast for the next week is just a wall of solid rain.  Yesterday, we got a high wind warning to go along with it.

Fortunately, we didn’t lose power (though many others did), and the kids made it to and from their schools safely.  We did have a tree down just outside of our cul-de-sac, but thankfully no one was hurt.  I am writing this post on my iPad, since we shut down the desktop system “just in case” of a power outage.

This is apparently the week to be wearing a lot of warm and waterproof layers.
