The Christmas Critic

Tad, who is fully in the Christmas spirit, has also begun to remind me of what I have NOT yet done to get ready for Christmas (in his mind).

He wanted the tree up on December 1st.  It was up on the 3rd.

Once the Santa picture was taken (on Monday evening), it needed to immediately be put on display with the rest of the pictures.  I hadn’t even gotten that box down.

The stockings were not hung yet.  They were in the same box as the Santa photos.  I got them out and Rerun helped me hang them Tuesday morning before school (but after Tad had left).

I’ve been trying to keep up with all the traditions and expectations that Mr. Rigid Routines has about Christmas.

Then he casually remarked to me, “Mom… you haven’t made Gingerbread Bears yet.”

If I end up in the looney bin, just remember that it was Tad who put me there.
