Japanese New Year Feast

More important than the food…

… and boy, was there a LOT of food…

… is the family you get to spend time with on New Year’s Day.

Even if the littlest one could barely stay still for the picture.

And just because everyone else who was in the next picture was also at New Year’s, I’m tossing in this one from two days before, from the annual Christmas luncheon (which was held at my house this year)…

It’s not every day you can put four generations in one picture together!
