Snuggly Sick Day

Tis’ the season to be calling in sick.

Thumper has been fighting a fever since Sunday morning.  I don’t know what he caught this time, but the fever was his only symptom.  I actually got a phone call from his school, because they are trying to track a stomach flu that is going around.  I reassured the office that there was no vomiting involved, and they were relieved.  But he’ll be taking today off as well, just so we can be sure he’s really over it, before sending him back on Thursday.

In the meantime, he’s on a complete Peanuts kick, so we watched a lot of the vintage cartoons while he was curled up on the couch!
