Art of the Week – Underwater Scratches

Monday’s lesson involved creating your own scratch art paper.  In this case, the kids colored their paper with crayons, and then painted over it with black paint.

Once it dried, the kids drew an underwater scene with etching tools and toothpicks to create their art.

Underwater scene?  Well, three guesses what Tad drew, and the first two don’t count.
