The Great Garage Conversion Begins!

FINALLY.

For posterity, this is what the garage looked like on Thursday morning, before the contractors arrived.

It already looks altered, as several things have happened already – including a foot of asphalt being jackhammered out in front of the garage door, rebar and concrete being set and poured, and the washer, dryer, and freezer being moved into the house.

I guess I have no excuse to ignore the laundry now when it’s sitting right next to the computer desktop.

Tad came home from school and promptly FREAKED out.  “Put it ALL BACK!  The house is RUINED!”

This is going to be a loooooong process.
