Well, we couldn’t keep bare rafters forever… The attic space in the bonus room is now insulated!  Of course, there really isn’t much “attic” to the space, thanks to our very low-pitched torchdown roof. Soon, the walls!

Here we have a Tad, in his natural habitat, returning books to the library. Without a parent standing over his shoulder. Instead, the parent is waiting the air-conditioned minivan, keeping the engine running in a crowded parking lot. Just another step toward growing up.
