The Plumbers Came, Saw, Jackhammered

It was really loud around here for a while.

Fortunately, most of us were away for the day – including me (I had a dental cleaning, lucky me), so we didn’t miss the water being shut off for most of the day while pipes were laid and the hot water tank was disconnected.

By the time the plumbers left, there were some new things to see!

Like the future location of the new toilet!

Honestly, it’s the feature that will change our lives the most in this house.  A second toilet is going to be AMAZING.

But until the inspector can sign off on the pipes, we are forbidden from using the washing machine – which is now connected to the same new pipes.

Fingers crossed that everything passes inspection!
