Christmas Miracles

I consider the fact that we got a fairly decent family picture in two takes to be a Christmas miracle.

The kids consider the fact that an Xbox One is now theirs to be a Christmas miracle.

But the real miracle is that on his sixth Christmas, after ignoring presents for his entire life, Thumper has decided that he is capable of opening his own gifts.

He opened one gift at Friend and Doc’s a few days ago, and has now proved that yes, he knows what he is doing.  His birthday this year is going to be so much more fun!  And THAT sense of participation and awareness really is a Christmas miracle.
