This Is My Child

Yes, this one is most definitely mine.

This is how I found Thumper last Thursday morning when I got up.  His sister had already left for school, and there he was, sitting tucked in on the couch, staring intently at the title page of my new annotated copy of Persuasion.

When he saw me, he said, confidently, “War and Peace!”

Um, no.

He thinks he is Charlie Brown in The Peanuts Movie.

War and Peace would be a LOT bigger than Persuasion.

It’s okay, Thumper.  You’re still adorable.
