Art of the Week – Cat Eyes

Tad finished his latest art project last night.  He wanted to be done with it last week, but his teacher said “wait a minute, there is so much MORE work you can do.”

I think that is the hardest problem for Tad right now.  He is so convinced that when he’s done, he’s done, and convincing him to take more time and add more detail is not easy when he’s not in the mood.

But his teacher prevailed, and this was the result.  The class was all using closeup photos of either a single eye or a pair of eyes from animals, and Tad picked a cat.

And to think he wanted to bail out last week before any of the detail work was done.  *shakes head*
