Flashback Friday

The last day of school is almost upon us (Monday), and then we will have our annual tradition of books and lunch as soon as everyone gets home from school.

Wait, not lunch.  Not this year.  This year, the last day of school is a full day, so we will be eating an early dinner instead.

But Tad has already said, “I can’t WAIT for my new books!”  (I think he went snooping and found one or two.)

So, here’s how this has looked in years past… I first started the book tradition in 2015.

He learned a little patience by the next year.  Here’s 2016:

I really enjoy this tradition, and I know the kids like it, too.
