Cooking Lessons For Tad
The kids had a day off school yesterday (this seems to be the story of our January Mondays), and since I was home and his therapist Leigh was available, Tad had an lunch therapy session which included… learning to make his own grilled cheese sandwiches.
This was a big deal because up until now, Tad has only cooked with the toaster oven or the microwave.
He got the hang of it fairly quickly, and while supervision is still going to be needed for a while, I think he got off to a very good start. And his brothers appreciated the fact that he had made lunch for them.
