Art Of The Week – Owl Collage Painting

This piece from art class took a couple of weeks to finish, but I love how it looks!

Tad spent the first week gluing leftover pieces of scrapbook paper to the canvas, and then once the background was in place and dry, painting the barn owl and the whole scene on top of it.

The texture and depth that the scrapbook paper gives the final piece is pretty amazing, if you ask me!
