Her first proposal?

Friend called me late Sunday night to tell me what the Brain (age 4) had said as she was putting him to bed.

“When I grow up, I’m going to get married and have a son,” he told his mother. “I will marry a girl, who will become a woman, and she will have the son that I’m going to have. And the Munchkin is the one who’s going to have the son that I’m going to have.”

Us mothers were in a fit of giggles. “Should we consider this a formal request for her hand?” Friend laughed.

The Webmaster took a slightly different tack.

“I want five camels,” he informed Friend.

5 camels is an insult, it would be more like 10 and a herd of 20 goats with a crate of AK-47s and RPGs.

And a good pre-nup. With those two, who knows what will happen. 😉

I like the idea of a crate of AK-47s and RPGs.

This Brain person sounds amazing. The Munchkin is such a lucky girl. I think their children would take over the world.

[…] Anyway, she has been telling me that she is going to marry her brother. I tried to explain the illegality of the scenario, but YOU try telling that to a three-year-old and have it make sense to them. However, she has had some kind of “understanding” with the Brain for a while. She brought it up when he and Head were over here on Monday. […]
