Pony Rides!

This actually occurred last weekend, but I only just now uploaded the pictures.

Our church has its annual fall festival on the last Saturday of September. There is food, cotton candy, popcorn, root beer floats, crafts, bouncy houses, a mechanical bull, and pony rides.

The kids must have spent a full hour in and out of the bouncy houses (especially since the Webmaster was manning one of them for a shift that lasted a little over an hour), but the FIRST thing they wanted to do?

Yup. The pony rides.

Ane loves her pony!

Have I mentioned before that the kids love pony rides? The kids LOVE pony rides.

Pony Hug

Tad got to ride the very same pony on the next go round. This pony’s name was Reba – which Ane promptly added to her list of acceptable pony names.

Giddyup!

I think Tad was born in the wrong century. He would have done well growing up on a farm with animals – especially a pony or two. Or maybe he was born in the wrong place – we should live somewhere warmer, with sharks he could swim with.

Cowboy Tad

In the meantime, the kids will have to be satisfied with an occasional pony ride. And boy, do they enjoy it!

So what you’re saying is that Tad belongs in 19th century Texas, near the Gulf coast?
