Hot Day Calls For Otter Pops

The heat broke a temperature record in Seattle yesterday.  It hit a high of 94 degrees.  I’m not sure how hot it got around our house, but we were plenty warm.

So, Otter Pops for dessert.  Outside.

Rerun still has a thing about frozen desserts – he’s not fond of them at all, and a milkshake is about as cold as he wants to get – so a taste was all he took (and his pop got eaten by his older brother, because it was open and needed to be eaten), but Thumper was a little more adventurous…

He decided that he liked it enough for a few more tastes… and his sister started to complain that he was getting more of it than she was.

Fortunately, it’s supposed to be 10 degrees cooler today.  *whew*

We need to bring the air conditioner into the house!
