Anything for a Kit Kat

It’s been funny to learn what the kids prefer when it comes to candy.

Ane loves sour candy and fruity candy – like Sourpatch Kids and Skittles.  However, she can’t eat either of those with braces (no sticky chewy stuff).  Good thing she can still eat her other favorites – peanut butter cups and Kit Kats.

Tad is just a chocoholic.  He’ll eat anything with chocolate on it.  Plain Hershey bars, Crunch bars, peanut butter cups, Twix – anything that has chocolate on it.

Rerun is weird.  His sweet tooth is picky.  The child who will eat muffins and scones and cookies and cake – has a strong aversion to ice cream and popsicles.  He likes chocolate candy – but in moderation (small portions like M&Ms and Hershey Kisses).  I offered him a Kit Kat stick, and he took one bite and handed it back.  But he will eat Pocky.  I’ve given up trying to understand him.

Thumper, on the other hand, has no such issues with Kit Kats.

Where has this been all my life???

I let him have a bite of one I was eating right after Halloween, and it was all over.  I really shouldn’t have been surprised, seeing how the boy is addicted to treats.

Nom nom nom

Since Rerun won’t be eating his Kit Kats, his little brother is more than happy to relieve him of this burden.

I love these!!!

I’m going to have to hide the rest of the candy.

Finger-lickin' good

Otherwise, the Webmaster and I are going to lose out on our share Thumper will probably help himself.  He’s a clever boy, this one.

Little Cousin is a lot like Tad; she loves chocolate, in any form, but she loves all ice cream, and she’s not into cake (unless it’s chocolate).

Little Cowgirl inherited her father’s insatiable sweettooth. If it has sugar she will eat it, ALL of it, and she’s not picky.

We have just discovered Little Hawk is very similar, he loves candy (and already has his version of the word). Even though chocolate seems to be his favorite, he’ll take what he can get.
