Christmas 2016 Recap: Part 4

Christmas brunch at Grandma and Gichan’s!

(That was the best picture we could get.  Rerun was squirrely, Thumper was looking everywhere but the camera, but Tad looks so forced….)

Aunts, uncle, cousins, and Obachan were also present.

After stockings and brunch, the unwrapping began.

Once the presents were opened, the younger kids were starting to droop.

So we decamped temporarily for naptime and dinner preparations.  When 5 pm rolled around, we rejoined the crowd for our Mexican potluck dinner, followed by presents from Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa.

Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa got some gifts, too.

By this time, the kids were well and truly Christmased, and it was time to go home.  Ane’s birthday party was scheduled for the next day (which I’ve already written about), and we had a house to clean, presents to put away, and more food to make.  What a Christmas!
