We’re Outnumbered

2004 was the first Christmas that Ane, the Brain, and Head spent together… mostly because it was Ane and Head’s first Christmas ever.

Look at how little they are!  This is a scanned photo – we didn’t even own a digital camera then.

By the next year, Tad had joined the crowd.

For a while, we just watched the Gang of Four grow…

(2006 was also known as “the year no one would sit still” – and this was the first digital picture.)

Then, finally, Rupert arrived… and the adults were outnumbered for the first time.

And this year, we added two more boys to the crowd.

There are seven kids in that picture… and six of them are boys.  Ane doesn’t mind being the queen bee, though.  It’s all passed by in a flash for me.  It’s a good thing that we got the pictures to prove that they’ve spent seven Christmases together.

How thoughtful of you to have taken pictures every year. It’s a wonderful record of the two families of children growing up. I hope you continue.

How did you get them ALL to sit still long enough to get such a good picture?
