Preparing

Since Monday was a day off of school for the kids, and I had a doctor’s appointment in the morning (all is well), I didn’t get my usual run of laundry done until yesterday.

But yesterday I actually pulled out two sleepers from my closet. One of them is a newborn size that I picked up off the clearance rack from Target a few years ago, and is white with blue trim and has helicopters and airplanes printed all over it. The other one is a 0-3 month size, with a puppy pattern in light blue, from Gymboree that I bought on sale before the line was moved out for the next design.

I took a breath, cut the tags, and washed them in the light load with Dreft.

I’m beginning to believe that this ninja baby, who loves to kick and roll constantly, is going to be a reality much sooner than I think.

I’d better get started on that “things to do before Rerun arrives” list, now that it is actually written.
