I want my hour back

This week has already been rough on me.

Daylight Savings – aka Lose 1 Hour, Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200 – exacted it’s toll on me Monday morning, when I overslept.  I woke up when the Webmaster said good-bye as he left for work, then I promptly hit snooze on my cell phone alarm and fell back asleep.

I woke up at 9 am (which used to be 8 am), and freaked out.  Because Ane had so completely missed the school bus, and school starts at 9:15.

To say I ran is an understatement.  I flew.

At 9:15, I pulled into the school parking lot, all three kids in the minivan, and tossed Ane out the door with her packed lunch box.  Tad was confused and disoriented, but Rerun apparently found the whole thing amusing, since he was grinning the whole time.

Fortunately, my Monday was easier after that, but I still want my missing hour back.  Forget the daylight – I want SLEEP.
