Halloween 2012

The Dark Knight was ready.

Hermione Granger had her wand at the ready.

This adorable little pirate who can say “trick or treat!” perfectly well… was not going to pose for a picture if he could help it.

In fact, before we left to go trick-or-treating (and while his great-grandparents, his Grandma, and his Auntie via Skype watched), the pirate had a minor identity crisis.

He finally decided that being a pirate was okay, and after several attempts, we got one good picture of the three kids together.

We went around our cul-de-sac and drove to a few places after Grandma, Great-Grandma and Great-Grandpa had all visited us and left candy in the kids’ pumpkin buckets.  Rerun refused to sit for another picture, so the Webmaster stepped in so we could get a shot with Obachan this year.

Rerun was an obstinate two-year-old, but he finally calmed down once “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” came on TV, and he had been bribed with the iPod Touch.

As the Webmaster says, he’s worse than a crack addict.

The older kids got one piece of candy, then brushed their teeth well and got into bed.  Rerun went to bed once we pried the iPod Touch from his hands.

Judging by the amount of loot they came home with, this was a pretty successful Halloween!

Thank you! I didn’t want to miss Halloween! I only had 16 last night.

Cute costumes, and Hermione’s hair is lovely! We had over 100 and Shirley on Westlake, 200. Kids come from Randle way to “a real town” where houses are close together.
