Play Acting

I don’t know how they have agreed to this, but the boys are settling into some very definite roles when they play act together.

For example, when they watch The Empire Strikes Back, Tad is always Darth Vader and Rerun is always Luke Skywalker.  It’s getting more hilarious all the time, and I really need to tape them.

However, last night they were watching Revenge of the Sith, and Tad was Obi-Wan Kenobi and Rerun was Anakin Skywalker.  Even with the red lightsaber blade, Tad insisted on being Obi-Wan.  And Rerun was fine with it.

I don’t expect this level of agreement to last forever, but it sure it sweet while I’m watching it.

Of course, then Tad informed me, “Mom, you’re Padme, because you have the baby in your tummy.  TWO babies.”

“Oh, no, Tad, I just have ONE baby in here.”  Then I said to the Webmaster in an aside, “Even though I look way more pregnant than she does…”
