Single Mom Weekend

The Webmaster and Ane took off on Friday morning for a family wedding (his side of the family) in Idaho.  They spent the next couple of evenings with Nana and Papa and other cousins, watching cousin Lolo’s daughter J get married.

I, on the other hand, spend the weekend with these three goons.

Handsome little monkeys, aren’t they?  They clean up well.  And this was Sunday morning, so this was church wear.

Friday evening, we picked up pizza (them) and pad Thai (me) for dinner and went to go spend the evening with Talli.  She needed some company, as Grandma, Gichan, the Major, Q-Bee, and the B Squad were away on an overnight trip, and Auntie was working.  When she saw me bring in pizza, she was the happiest dog ever.  Why?  PIZZA CRUSTS.

We also had cupcakes, but Talli was not allowed to have any of that.

Saturday morning, I took the boys to see Despicable Me 3 at the sensory friendly showing.  The older two boys really don’t need it, but Thumper does.  He really does not like sitting still.  The only thing he sat still for was the opening and the end credits.  He likes the Minions, but the movie was much lighter on Minions than the previous two.

I tried to keep them busy and on schedule as much as possible, but I have to say, the camp schedule we are on is really exhausting.  It’s been early bedtimes all around lately.

And today is Grandma’s birthday!  Happy birthday, Grandma!!! See you tonight!
