Paint Fixes Everything!

For the last year, our house has been covered in caulked polka-dots.  Now you see them…

… and now you don’t!

While we are not done yet, we are about halfway there, thanks to a massive assist from Gichan.  The house already looks a million times better.

We are trying to get it done before the weather turns on us (which is why we had a polka-dot house when we had to stop), and we had to wait for the window caulking to be finished by the contractor before we got started.  But we are FINALLY getting it done!

And happy birthday to my sweet niece Bette, who is eight years old today!  Happy birthday, Bette!  Your present is on its way in Grandma’s box, if it hasn’t arrived already!
