Snowpocalypse 2019

The boys are finally getting their wish.  Fluffy rain!

And Ane.  It started snowing Sunday afternoon and Ane was so delighted she ran outside.  Barefoot.  Because she’s also young and dumb.

It accumulated rather quickly, then stopped, but then started again.  By the time we returned home from Friend and Doc’s house, the hydrangea bush looked like it was covered in cotton balls.  And we had already gotten the phone call from the school district that since temperatures were due to drop below freezing, there would be a 2 hour delay for Monday.

This also thrilled Ane, since she would get to sleep in.

The boys, however, will not be satisfied until they get the day off.  (They aren’t thinking ahead to June.)

We shall see….
