One year ago today…

… the Mariners beat Tampa Bay. If I remember correctly, the score was something like 4 to 0. But before we went to the game, the Webmaster and I took the Munchkin to the hospital to meet Little Cousin, who is celebrating her first birthday today, several states away.

I bought her a little pink Mariner bear keychain that now hangs on her diaper bag, and the ticket from the game went into her baby book.

She “talked” to me on the phone right before she got a crack at her birthday cake this afternoon. I’m sorry that you had to wait for cake because Auntie wanted to say “hi”, sweetie!

Little Cousin has gone from being a fuzzy-headed, 5 pound, 10 ounce peanut into a fuzzy-headed bundle of walking energy. Thanks for making me an auntie. I love you so much!
