Power – ON!

WOO-HOO!

The novelty of the power outage wore off for the Munchkin when she discovered:
– there was no TV
– she couldn’t turn the Christmas tree lights on
– there was no toast at breakfast

We spent the afternoon at the mall with the rest of the local population, it seems. But now we have power back at the Corner, and all is well.

Still waiting for power to come back on at my parents’ house, though…

    22 hours without power was more than I could handle with grace. But–We’re back! And we had a nice, warm night. I can’t believe how tiring it was killing time away from our cold house.

    It sounds like a lot of people in Seattle were without power longer than I was without power in Virginia a few years ago after a hurricane. Sheesh. I’m glad everyone’s getting power back finally.

    I was thinking about you when reading about the Great Northwest weather.

    It got down to 56 degrees today so I feel your pain.

    (Glad The Munchkin survived)
