Last day of school
Well, today is it for Auntie. As of tomorrow, she is technically a freshman in high school – even though in our local district, 9th graders still attend the junior high.
I feel very old.
We seem to have a full weekend ahead… the freezer is coming tomorrow (!!), along with Nana and Papa, the Webmaster’s parents. They are stopping here on their way to a conference, and I haven’t told the kids yet, because I don’t want to get them all worked up. Plus a church potluck on Sunday evening.
And did I mention the freezer?
On a good news note… Little Mo has been diagnosed with pancreatitis, and is undergoing treatment. According to her dad, she’s doing well, but her immunity numbers are quite low as a result, as are her red blood cell counts. If that drops any lower, she will need a transfusion. But she seems to be in better spirits, and we are hopeful that a week in the hospital is all she will need.
And what on earth do I say to Ane when she says “Mommy, I want to watch O’Reilly… he’s my favorite!!” 🙂
Happy weekend, everyone!
