Sweeping out the debris

Tree – GONE! With a little help (and un-help) from the kids, the ornaments came off before dinner. After they went to bed, I took off the lights and the Webmaster put it outside, where it sits oh-so-lonely on the back deck.

Husband – SICK! The Webmaster seems to be feeling the after-effects of the vomit-palooza and joined in the fun last night. He’s home today, locked in our bedroom (the kids don’t even know that he’s here).

Ane – Princess-obsessed! No change there.

Tad – Cars-obsessed! Ditto.

Me – FRAZZLED! Must get party bags made for Ane’s party. Must buy stuff for party bags. What on earth do I put in party bags for boys who will be attending a girl’s Princess party??? Any ideas, people?

“What on earth do I put in party bags for boys who will be attending a girl’s Princess party???”

Princess things! The three-year-old son of the family we’re renting from wanted to be a princess for Halloween (actually some sort of hybrid between Princess Fiona and Lightning McQueen. Well, he’s three). They managed to coax him gently into being a knight instead, but I think it took a while.
