Ane Speaks – this week’s Bible verse

Ane has just finished her Jumper book at Cubbies. She is now in possession of several patches and is quite bummed that she has to wait until next year to start her Hopper book. (If she started it now, what would we do with her next year? There are only two books!)

She said the last verse from the Jumper book last night, which was her Easter verse: Luke 24:6 – “He is not here; He has risen…”

Right before we left for Cubbies, I had Ane practice it one last time. “He…” I prompted her (they get a one-word prompt for each verse if needed).

“He is not here; He’s in prison!” Ane finished.

She did get it right by the time she said it at Cubbies.
