Domino Effect

Yeah. That second tooth of Ane’s that was loose?

Buh-bye.

That’s what happens when you are laying in front of the fireplace, toasting your feet… and your brother decides to walk across your face and plants his bare foot in your mouth in the process.

Tad’s “help” made the gum bleed quite a bit, and the tooth was so wiggly at that point that after dinner Monday night, I bribed Ane with the promise of a popsicle, and managed to get her mouth open wide enough to give her tooth a tug.

And POP! Out it came. Much less drama this time.

Of course, between her overbite and the two adult teeth coming in, there really isn’t much of a gap in her mouth. But that’s okay. The Tooth Fairy has paid another visit and left another quarter in her Tooth Fairy box.

Ane had a grape popsicle. Tad had a cherry one. I’m not sure he really deserved one, but the tooth is out and now I don’t have to think about Ane losing any more teeth for a while. That was probably worth a popsicle.

For the record: Tad did not deserve a popsicle. He stepped on Ane’s face! Plus, isn’t it 40 degrees there? He didn’t need the cold.

Where’s the picture?? 🙂 I guess I’ll just have to see for myself tonight!

Oh and thanks for setting the tooth fairy bar low for the rest of us. Although… Lina says she has enough money & insists she’s keeping her tooth when it finally falls out!
