Scatterbrained

My brain is fried.

I am trying to make cards for this weekend – I have a small demo going on at an event at church.  And I’ve got all the normal events of the week, plus being a single parent for the week.

I did manage to get all three kids bathed and their bedsheets changed last night.  And Rerun has clean diapers straight from the dryer, all folded and put away.  So not everything is going crazy on me.

But I am trying to juggle too many things in my head.  I just got a stamping order, and totally blanked on what was mine and what was my friend Tweety’s, who also ordered some stuff.  Yesterday, I discovered that I had a package of her scrapbooking stickers.  I called her to let her know that, and we arranged for her to come pick them up today.  And then, as I’m putting together these cards for Saturday… I realize that I accidentally gave her some of my scrapbooking stickers.

*facepalm*

I’ll get it all straightened out eventually.  It’s a good thing the Webmaster will be home on Friday.  If he stays in Portland any longer, I think I run the risk of exchanging a kid accidentally.  And with my luck, it would be the super cute one who doesn’t talk back.

Be warned, though – he is teething.  He’s a touch crankier than usual.

Come to think of it, so am I.

With all of your obligations, just do what you absolutely have to to get by. The diapers don’t have to get folded until just before they are to be used. Use paper plates. With no husband around, you don’t have to prepare big meals. (Looks like he’s getting them on his own!) He can help you catch up when he gets back! Welcome home, dear!
