Mud

Well, the backyard is quite a muddy mess.  We had some major septic repairs done.  But all is well now, except for the lawn itself.

Fortunately, it’s January and the kids really aren’t playing in the backyard at the moment.  The septic company filled all the trenches, and with a little grass seed things will be as good as new again.

But in the meantime, it’s a mud pit.  And wouldn’t you know, it started raining while the septic guys were at work, after weeks of no rain.  Of course.  And it’s only going to get more rainy and wet around here.

On the up side, the minivan passed its biannual emissions test and had the tires rotated.  Let us look at the silver linings instead of the muddy ones, shall we?
