And Now I’m Even Older

Yesterday was my birthday, and I got a year older.  And I got a few gifts.  The older I get, the more I just want a meal I don’t have to cook and kids that behave as a gift for the day.

I got that (good effort by the kids on their end of that deal), plus a really fun new shirt from the Webmaster and the kids.

While Auntie rolled her eyes at the shirt, Rerun took one look at it and said, “Mom, that is an AWESOME shirt!”

I’m a mom, I can wear a UniKitty shirt if I want.

I had a very happy birthday, even if the Mariners fell half a game short of the post-season.

And now, back to real life, one year older.
