Playground Fun

Rerun got an extra play time at school last week.  The preschool is always closed on Wednesdays, which turned a 4 day weekend into a 5 day weekend for him.  The staff decided to open up the playground and invite the students to come play.  And little siblings, too.

Since both my little boys love being outside, even on brisk days, this was a bunch of fun.  And Thumper discovered that he really liked the sound of rustling fall leaves under his feet.

He also loved the rocking whales on the playground – though Mommy was doing the rocking part.

Rerun had gotten his bike helmet out of his cubby and was busily riding around on the walking paths.  Now I know how he got so good on his trike at home.

But then Thumper sat down on one of the other trikes, and Rerun decided to take him for a ride.  It was too adorable!

After we were done with playtime, we stopped for a quick lunch, went home, and they both took really good naps.  Which means it was a really good playtime.
